👋 Meet Mele Queensell! 👋 Our wonderful Mental Health and AOD Clinician in the West ❤️✨

🌟 About Mele:

Kia Ora, I’m Mele (she/her), and I am a Clinician here at EaseUp. I am passionate about helping our youth know their worth and finding ways to affirm them of it. 🌸🌼

🌟 Who is a strong role model you look up to and why?

I look up to Sioana Havili (my late mother) because she was a strong woman who worked hard, patient, wise, honest, and loving. She taught me the epitome of hard work and never giving up. Even though she was struggling physically with medical struggles, she never let that be an excuse, but she made it a stepping stone to keep going. She went back to university after 30 years of working in a factory and graduated. When she got her first job as a community health worker she was required to drive, and mom was not able to drive at the time. She didn’t make that stop her going forward, she got into the car and learned to drive at 55years old and got her full license so she can start her new career. She inspires me every day.

🎬 What’s your favourite movie or TV show and why?

My favourite is Hannibal. 🍿🎥 I love it because it is great visually, has very interesting characters, plot movements that keep you interested in watching it, and the psychology behind the movie is fascinating. 🧠✨

🌍 If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would love to visit Paris 🇫🇷 because I keep having weird visions of walking around in Paris, and now I believe that I am meant to go there someday. 🗼🌹
